Happy Hobbit Day (A Day Late)

Yesterday was Hobbit Day! (The birthday of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins.) Did you do anything to celebrate?

"Sing a happy song,
Drink a cup of tea,
 Dance a little jig,
Celebrate with me.
Happy Hobbit Day!"

And on a side note, there should be another "Caption This" very soon. Apologies for the delay! :)

♫ "Blunt the Knives!" ♪

       Hullo, my friends!
It's been over a month since I viewed the BOTFA and I STILL have not recovered. No, I don't think I ever will. But for the moment lets go back a bit to An Unexpected Journey and the Unexpected Party and sing "Blunt the knives, bend the forks!"
(*This will either take your mind off of BOTFA Feels or bring them back by the thousands. Most likely the latter.*)

They all look so little and inexperienced compared to the in the Battle of the Five Armies. *Don't cry, don't cry*

Yay! Blunt the Knives! Now you probably will have this in you head for the rest of the day. You're welcome. Ehehehehe. . .

Blessings,
S. F.

An Unexpected Postponed -Blog- Party (THIS IS IT.)

YES. IT'S TIME.
*Doorbell rings* *"What?! Oh fine."* *Opens the door. . .*

Well look who's here!
It's all of you and your entries. PARTY TIME.

My thanks to everyone who participated. I really wasn't sure if any one would. :) It is, I agree, NOT May 5th...but that doesn't matter, really, does it?
And now. . .

 © S. F.: Bilbo Baggins, of Bag-end.

If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be?
Have him show me around Hobbiton and Bag-end. Then perhaps read "There and Back Again".

What are three adjectives to describe this character?
Hilarious, quirky and sympathise-able. (How dare it tell me that is not a word!)

© Les V. : Thranduil, the Elven King

If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be?
Take a stroll far away from the Woodland Realm, into Lothlorien. And there, we would paint the flowers.

What are three adjectives to describe this character?
Beguiling, tranquil (I had to), resonant.

© Kara: A Lord of the Ring's and Narnia checker set.
(Favourite character picked is Thorin.)

If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be?
If I could do anything I would go with him, Bilbo and all the other dwarves to reclaim the mountain from the dragon Smaug. How amazing would that be?!

What are three adjectives to describe this character?
Honest, tough, warrior

© Korin: Tauriel, Captain of the Guard.

If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be?
I would do target practice with Tauriel.

What are three adjectives to describe this character?
brave, adventurous, and compassionate.

© Saphira: Thorin Oakenshield, King Under the Mountain.

If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be?
That is a very hard question.....um.....anything.....go outside and climb rocks. Or have him hunt down the bear that has been wandering around our house and shoot it. -shrugs-

What are three adjectives to describe this character?
Strong, determined, and undaunted.

All of this art (and checker board) are so amazing! Wow. You are so talented. :)
Thank you so much for participating. Let's give everyone who joined a round of applause! *applause*

Love ~ S. F.

Note: Lily and Sarah would have joined, but they weren't able to. *applause for them to because their art would have been fabulous!*
"We will join all the merriment deep in our hearts & are participating in spirit!! :)" ~ Lily.

An Unexpected Postponed -Blog- Party

First, I must excuse the fact ^that^ picture says "Au Unexpected Party" instead of "An Unexpected Party." :) We all make mistakes...
And now, since I haven't had many entries (WHERE ARE YOU, O ARTISTS?!) I have decided to postpone it. I don't know when we'll do it, but a thought came to me that perhaps we all might work a little bit better without deadlines. :)  Therefore all entries will be shared when I have them all. Sound good? Glad you agree.
If you are thinking of joining and haven't already e-mailed me, then you can leave your e-mail in a comment (it won't be published!☺), and then I'll e-mail you first. I hope this can work out for everyone!

An Unexpected -BLOG- Party

Rather unexpected, yes? But I have decided to host a blog party! Bear with me, I have never done one before. It's even come unexpectedly to me.
True, the real Unexpected party happened on the 26 of April, but. . .THAT'S TOMORROW! And that would mean no time to prepare. Therefore, it will begin next Monday, and last a week.
     How do you participate?
You participate by. . .
  1. Drawing a picture of one of your favourite characters from LOTR/the Hobbit. Try to be creative!  Most likely Thorin, Fili, Kili, Legolas, and of the like, are some of your favourites. But of course you can draw them. I just would like for everyone to draw someone different. :) (I've already picked Bilbo!)
  2. After you've drawn them, you can get your drawing to me by e-mail. (If I don't already have yours, you can leave it in a separate comment and it won't be published. And then I'll e-mail you.) Title the e-mail: "Joining the Unexpected Party".
  3. Answer theses 2 question: If you could do anything with this favourite character of yours, what would it be? What are three adjectives to describe this character? E-mail your answers, too.
  4. Invite others! If you have a sibling that might want to participate, by all means invite them. :)
If your time is limited to not being able to draw a detailed drawing, just do a simple one! I won't care, and neither will anyone else.
Have the drawing to me at least on May 1st. :)
Posting the picture above on your blog is a HUGE option, and you really don't have to do it. But if you do, then feel free to do it!

I hope time will allow you to join, and remember. . .
To celebrate the real AUP tomorrow,
Keep singing  "Blunt the Knives!" to get into the real unexpected spirit,
And listen to lots of Hobbit/LOTR soundtracks!

~ S. F.
